I am thrilled to be joining City Academy of Atlanta.. Though I am new to this role at CAA, our family was part of the school community from 2019-2022. My husband Matthew and I have 4 children. Ella(rising 9th), Jad (rising 6th), Evan (rising 3rd) Ruby (age 5). I have a Bachelors and Masters degree in Early Childhood Education. I have taught 1st, 3rd, 2nd, and 5th. I was an instructional/literacy coach in Hall county schools and an Adjunct Professor at North Georgia College and State University for the School of Education.

In addition to teaching professional development workshops, I loved getting to write curriculum in Hall county. In 2015, God had different plans and I stepped out of the classroom to stay at home with our 3 kids. In 2016 we started the adoption process to adopt from Colombia. In 2019 the waiting was over and Ruby joined our family. My husband Matthew works for the international team at Chick-fil-A as their Senior Principal Program Lead. We live in the Vinings community and are planted at Passion City Church.
