Georgia law requires parents or guardians who teach their children at home to submit to the Georgia Department of Education (GADOE) an annual Declaration of Intent form. A Declaration of Intent must be submitted to the Georgia Department of Education within 30 days after establishment of a home study program and by September 1 annually thereafter.

Our goal is to provide a learning environment where all students can concentrate and focus easily without being distracted by dress. Although the uniform is simple and does not include all garments, modesty and discretion are expected.
We must enable parents and guardians to authorize the provision of emergency treatment for children who became ill or injured while under school authority, when parents or guardians cannot be reached.
From time to time, City Academy of Atlanta, Inc. may use the image, likeness, or voice of its students in media, business, fundraising, and/or marketing purposes, in perpetuity. The use of these materials may be used in whole or in part, and in original or modified form. The use of such images, likeness, voice recordings may reproduced or used in print, audio, video, digital, electronic, or any other means deemed necessary and appropriate for the purposes. Our Allergy Action Plan is a document that outlines the steps that should be taken in the event of a student having a severe allergic reaction to food. By having a food allergy and anaphylaxis emergency care plan in place, City Academy can help to ensure that students with food allergies receive the care they need in the event of an allergic reaction.
